MVS Console When configured for TN3270 client access and non-SNA DFT coax connectivity to the mainframe, the DI3270 MultiProtocol Comm Server enables any TN3270 client connected to the local LAN, Intranet or the Internet to perform MVS console functions.
Because the DI3270 Comm Server can be configured for non-SNA mainframe access, it can enable attached clients to perform the MVS console function, which is a non-SNA app. The DI3270 Comm Server configured for non-SNA access can support up to 32 concurrent sessions. In a configuration containing multiple DI3270 Comm Servers each providing non-SNA connectivity to a different MVS host, a single TN3270 client could run multiple concurrent MVS console apps, each to a different MVS host.
